  • Axle King Warranty

A Used Parts, LLC, doing business as Axle King (AUP), warrants the axle assembly, carrier, or differential listed on your invoice against internal defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and proper maintenance.

    Coverage

Depending on the application, rebuilt axles include a 12-month/12,000-mile, 24-month/24,000-mile, or 36-month/36,000-mile warranty. Used dual rear wheel (DRW) axles have 90 days of coverage; most used single rear wheel (SRW) axles have six months. Your invoice or order states the warranty for your purchase.

Parts are sold by application and condition for the vehicle identified in your order. Unless otherwise stated, AUP supplies assembled units with housings. Brake components are included only when listed on your invoice. Add-on components, including calipers, rotors, hubs, drums, discs, backing plates, and brake cables, are excluded from warranty coverage. Unlisted components supplied with the assembly are complimentary and may be used at the installer’s discretion.

    Claims, Repairs, and Replacements

Contact AUP before repairs, replacement, or disassembly. Written authorization, including email, is required. AUP may, at its discretion, repair or replace a covered defective part. The warranty provides one replacement only. If a suitable replacement is unavailable, AUP will refund the purchase price of the covered part. The 90-day return deadline does not apply to covered warranty claims.

If repair costs exceed 25% of the purchase price, AUP may require pickup and return of the part. Parts returned for repair, replacement, or refund must be complete and assembled as sold, with all add-on components attached, and packaged or palletized as originally delivered.

    Returns and Refunds

Request refunds or reimbursement of authorized repairs by phone, email, fax, or in writing. Processing may take up to 15 days after AUP or its supplier receives and signs for the returned part.

Nondefective parts may be returned within 90 days of receipt, subject to a 25% restocking fee and shipping costs. After 90 days, nondefective parts are eligible for replacement or store credit only. Covered defective parts are handled under the Claims, Repairs, and Replacements section. Core charges are not refundable after the warranty period.

    Core Returns

We waive the core fee upfront for two weeks to give you time to return your old axle. Your core must match the axle you purchase. Minor housing damage is usually acceptable. Tell your salesperson what is going on with the core so we can review the details with you and avoid surprises. Incomplete returned cores are subject to a prorated core fee.

    Installation and Maintenance

Have a qualified technician install, maintain, and adjust the assembly. Follow the accompanying Axle King Installation and New Gear Break-In Instructions, including inspection, correct fluid, fastener torque, follow-up checks, and required new-gear break-in and 500-mile oil change. Failure to follow required break-in procedures voids coverage.

If you ordered the correct part and AUP supplied an incorrect or defective part, AUP is responsible for round-trip shipping as stated in your order confirmation and warranty.

    Exclusions

    The following void warranty coverage:

    • Misuse, negligence, alterations, accidents, or fire.
    • Improper installation or repair.
    • Insufficient lubrication, incorrect fluid levels, fluid not recommended by the manufacturer, or failure to follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule.
    • Damage caused by failure of a noncovered component; incidental or consequential damage.
    • Claims occurring outside the United States.
    • Repairs, replacement, or disassembly without AUP’s written or emailed authorization, including removal of the ring and pinion, gear set, or bearings.
    • Water, dirt, sand, or other contamination.
    • Aftermarket wheels that differ from factory wheels, tires other than factory-recommended sizes, engine or computer modifications, loads or towing above the vehicle’s rated capacity, or vehicle lift kits.

Performance and competition use are excluded. Brake components, ball joints, suspension components, and wheel lug studs are not covered.

    Liability and Other Terms

AUP’s liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the covered part as provided in this warranty. Labor to repair, remove, or install a part, turnover costs, and other incidental expenses are not reimbursable. AUP is not liable for consequential, incidental, or special damages.

This warranty replaces all other express warranties from AUP. Any implied warranty is limited to the duration of this written warranty. No distributor, dealer, agent, or employee may enlarge, alter, or extend the warranty or assume additional obligations on AUP’s behalf.

This agreement replaces prior agreements and oral representations concerning this transaction. The buyer may not modify it. Changes must be in writing and signed by both parties. Failure to enforce a provision or exercise a remedy does not waive rights or remedies for a breach. This agreement, its warranties, and its terms may not be sold or assigned to a third party.

    Legal Construction

If any provision of this agreement is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
